Join us on a musical journey with Dante Alighieri on Thu 24 February at Queen Victoria Building Level 1 Centre Dome. Live performances at 5.30pm & 6.30.
“A Journey with Dante” is a musical expedition through the Divine Comedy. Divided into three chapters: pianist, string quartet and Gregorian choir will set the scene of the mystical journey from gloomy inferno to celestial heaven. The immerse performance will submerge guests into Dante’s world alongside renowned actor Grant Lyndon’s recital of the iconic verses from canticles of the Divine Comedy.
The music will be performed by Italian pianist Mauro Colombis , violonist Beatrice Colombis, emerging award-winning ensemble Cousin Quartet and the Choir of Christ Church St Laurence.
