Hunters Hill Theatre Hunters Hill Theatre held its first committee meeting in September 1930 and has been performing ever since. We perform 4 productions a year at Club Ryde.

A community based group based in Club Ryde, Sydney. Performing four productions a year in Club Ryde, the group has been going strong since 1930! New members are always welcome.

CHRIS LONG (Tredwell/Constable Johnson)
Chris is thrilled to make his theatrical debut, finally escaping the trauma of standup comedy where nobody is legally required to stick to a script. He thanks the cast and crew for not firing the rookie. Enjoy the show!

GARY HILL (Dr. Graham)
After a 35 year hiatus from the stage, Gary is delighted to make his theatrical comeback with HHT. While his acting days seemed firmly behind him since leaving school, the chance to take on the role of Dr. Graham has reignited his passion for performance. He’s genuinely looking forward to stepping into Agatha Christie’s world and sharing the stage with this talented ensemble.

The latest members of the cast of Black Coffee. Opens two weeks tonight and selling fast!

EMMA LEBEUF (Lucia Amory)
Emma’s first rendezvous with Agatha Christie was as Pippa Hailsham-Brown in Pymble Players 2025 Spider’s Web, and she is excited to have her debut role at HHT in another classic from Mrs. Christie. Emma is looking forward to creating a sense of suspicion and doubt amongst the audience in her role as the loving but secretive Lucia Amory.

THOMAS SOUTHWELL (Richard Amory)
Thomas’ distant foray into theatre performance was a production of 2010’s The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe with Marian Street Theatre for Young People - dual cast as Aslan and Father Christmas. While studying, Thomas immersed himself in student productions at Macquarie University and has since performed with Genesian Theatre and Castle Hill Players.

ANNALIE HAMILTON (Barbara Amory)
This is Annalie’s second play with HHT, her first being Revlon Girls. Annalie has worked in theatre, film and dance productions for almost 20 years and looks forward to continuing her journey at Club Ryde Ex. She is currently preparing for Irish dance exams, knows how to drive a forklift, and really dislikes the taste of
coffee!

RODNEY STEWART (Inspector Japp)
This is Rodney’s first play with HHT having appeared in 16 plays for The Genesian Theatre (6 by Agatha Christie) and 13 plays for the Lane Cove Theatre Company. Rodney has written six musicals - Devil May Care and Vicki have been workshopped and/or performed by these theatres and his first children’s musical,
Starsong, will workshop at Genesian’s later this year.
