Well, that’s a wrap! And it was wild . My solo exhibition came to an end this week. Thanks to the support of my community, there wasn’t much to bring back to the studio with over 3/4 of my artwork being sold. Totally crazy. It’s a weird feeling. The week before the exhibition I was so nervous and thinking this was a ridiculous venture, but it all turned out okay!

This was part of my Eucalypt exhibition and it sold early on in the piece!

I’ve painted a larger scene from this vantage point with more of the view to the left in it (it sold about 2 years ago) and then I painted a small vertical aspect in the Saturday Landscapes miniseries last year, but I really wanted to try it in a square format. I particularly love the colour of the land in the background, which is the suburb of Oyster Bay. The light hitting it made it look pale aqua. (See pic 2). This is my local walking route so I have taken many photos in the different light, and this morning night was stunning.

Last day today! It’s been wild!
Thankyou to for hosting my exhibition ‘Eucalypt’ and thankyou to everyone for getting to the show - every time I visited there were groups of people there. I was blown away!

Last few days to see my solo show titled Eucalypt at . It’s gone incredibly well and I thank everyone for their interest and support. I have met so many great people that have come to see the show.
