Thoughts go out to the late Gene Owens, Jane Clark and the Hart's on loosing a great one today. 2x times World Champion and well on the way to a 3rd.
RIP Man Hater. It will be a long time until we see another one this good.

Today the rodeo world lost more than a great bull.
Today we lost a legend.

Man Hater, the two-time World Champion in 2024 and 2025, has passed away after suffering a severe leg injury. After being carefully evaluated by the veterinarians at OSU, it was determined that the injury could not be repaired, and the heartbreaking decision was made to let him rest.

At the time of his passing, Man Hater was leading the 2026 World Championship race, continuing to prove why he was one of the greatest bulls the sport has ever seen.

His legacy inside the arena is nothing short of extraordinary:

• Highest individual bull score ever recorded — 49.50
• Second-highest combined score in PBR history — 98.25 with Cássio Dias
• 73 career outs
• Only 11 qualified rides, with an incredible 85% buck-off rate

After the passing of his longtime owner Gene Owen, Man Hater continued his journey under the care of JW and LeAnn Hart, who shared the news today with heavy hearts but also with immense pride in the legacy this bull created.

Some bulls are great.
Some bulls change the sport.

Man Hater did both.

Rest easy, old friend.
You gave the fans unforgettable moments and now you’re reunited with Gene once again.

The stable has some exciting times ahead and an extra mouth to feed come april 2026 with a little girl joining the crew.

We are very thankful to all our amazing friends and family that came to the gender reveal and helped us celebrate.

A special thankyou has to go to our friends at The Ruhland Ranch for hosting the festivities and to Jody Ruhland for being our go to and keeping the secret for the reveal.
Dan Ruhland for being our go to cowboy and #713 WarCry, even though the flank fell off he still put on a show for us.

Sad day for Addi & family. Incredible bull. 🐮

Nothin' But Try Ranch and Event Center's 1814 Hard Labor has passed away.

From the Drury family:
"Hard Labor was the first bull we raised that was selected to the PBR World Finals. Seeing Addi flank him there is a moment we will always cherish. Addi and Hard Labor grew up together and were inseparable. When he suffered his career ending injury, we drove Addi to the vet three hours away every weekend to spend time with him until he was able to come home. Hard Labor was one of a king and will be truly missed."
