Well done Oskar Proy. We are so proud of you and can't wait to see where your musical journey takes you. You an insperation for the young performers on the peninsula.
Hey everyone!
It’s a shame I didn’t get through today,
but I’d just like to say a massive thank you for the support over these past couple of weeks once more to you all, it truly has been beautiful.
Even from my limited time on the show I have learnt so much more about music and performance through being mentored by Delta and through having this amazing opportunity to share a part of myself and my story with you all.
My experience with The Voice has helped me grow as a person and is definitely something that I will take with me on my life’s Musical Journey.
But this Musical Journey would never have even begun and continued to where I am now if it weren’t for some pretty influential and special people in my life.
First I’d like to start with Groovy (Lynne Edwards) who was my Music teacher in Primary School (Kunyung Primary).
Lynne is the person who gave me the confidence back in year 1 to sing in front of people and has continued to encourage me throughout my life so far.
Without her I do not know if I would have taken up singing to the extent I have now.
I would like to thank Mark Mannock, Gina Reimers, Jackie Sannia and the rest of the music department at Padua college for their help and encouragement over my years at Padua Secondary College.
I would like to thank Annalisa Kerrigan for her amazing vocal technical help (helped me big time when my voice was breaking to regain confidence).
I would like to thank Daniel Palamara as he’s responsible for giving me the solid foundations in my Guitar playing and teaching me that it’s okay to push the boundaries with your voice and not limit yourself to one style of music.
I would like to thank my beautiful Abuelo (Grandfather),
A fellow musician himself,
for inspiring me with my music and encouraging me from a young age.
And last, but certainly not least,
I would like to thank my incredible Family and Friends for your support and love over the years,
And for believing in me, even when I didn’t.
I am so thankful for you all and have definitely been incredibly lucky to be surrounded by such amazing people.
Even though this is the end of my journey on The Voice, it is not the end of my Musical Journey...
And I plan on One Day being able to share my music with the world.
Best of luck to Trent and the rest of the contestants on the show!!
Take it easy guys!
Till next time ❤️❤️
