Roma's Easter in the Country

Roma's Easter in the Country Roma's Easter in the Country festival is a five-day celebration of all things country.
(1)

Now entering its 38th year, it is widely recognized as one of South West Queensland's premier Easter events, and brilliantly showcases the country lifestyle. The festival offers a range of activities for the thrill-seeker, the cultural buff, and for those that like to take things a little more leisurely. The event gives an opportunity for the residents of Roma to invite their relatives and friends

to spend a long weekend in the country to enjoy the atmosphere and friendliness that Roma and the Maranoa has to offer.

We would like to shout out a very big thank you to all of our sponsors for our 50th year celebration.

Our festival wouldn’t be possible without your generous support.

So once again, thank you!

HELP FINDING LOST BRACELET

“Lost Bracelet | please help!

Hi all,
I was visiting Roma this weekend for the Easter festival and upon returning home I realised I have lost my bracelet that is very special to me. It was given to my Mother for her christening (over 60 years ago!) and there has been nary a day that it’s been off my wrist in the last few years.
I’m absolutely heartbroken.

Unfortunately I can’t pin point exactly when I lost it and for all I know it could be sitting in the little patch of paddock we were camping in Bassett Park but we visited all over town including -

- sat markets & parade

- Sunday morning fun day

- Sat races

- The Club & The Royal

- Friday Xtreme Bulls (though I have a photo with it still on my wrist from this night)

ANY help I would be extremely grateful. The only thing stopping me driving the 5 hours back is that I don’t have the means to do so.

I have called the above venues, the taxi company, contacted the turf club, the EITC contact and emailed the police station also.

Appreciate your time in reading this and any keen eyes that may have found it 🤞🏻🤞🏻
Thank you.

As our 50th year of Roma's Easter in the Country celebrations come to an end, we just wanted to say a very big THANK YOU!

To every local, every visitor, every sponsor, and all the hard working local businesses who helped bring this unforgettable weekend to life, it's the reason this festival keeps growing stronger every year.

If you didn't know, Easter in the Country is proudly run by a small band of volunteers on the committee, who roll up their sleeves each year to put this show together.
It’s a labour of love, but seeing the community come together like this makes every bit of it worthwhile.

It’s amazing when a whole region gathers to celebrate the spirit of country living.

As always, we welcome any feedback or suggestions for the festival. Please email [email protected]

Wishing you all a happy Easter and hope to see you in 2027!
