The last round of auditions with Rockhampton Little Theatre "Whats On" are today at 3pm at the Walter Reid.
After their first round of auditions they have a few roles still available for their November season of plays.
Rockhampton Little Theatres November production will be an evening of one act plays.
Boiled Cabbage by Tony Moore is a short history of World War 2. A fast and furious comedy featuring the adventures of Mum, Dad, Janet and John as they get involved in everything that the war can offer them.
2 male 2 female. As the piece is an absurdist comedy ages of the performers are not very important. The ability to play physical comedy is foremost.
Check Please by Jonathon Rand is an insight into first dates. A Girl and a Guy each meet a number of first dates with mixed results.
The Girl and Guy play the same characters throughout and each meet with 12 named characters. We envisage that the dates will be played by a maximum of three male and three female actors. This may change based on the auditions. Ages late teens to late twenties.
Downstairs at Gosford Park by Gary Abrahams. A waiter, frustrated and bored cuts loose in a 5 - minute monologue. This may be tied in to Check Please. Age late teens to late twenties.
Tony Moore will be directing Boiled Cabbage and working with Spencer Green who is Directing Check Please and Downstairs at Gosford Park.
