Warama Culture is more than just a cultural performance group. We are a completely independent, self-sufficient organisation that has been built from the ground up through hard work, determination and a shared passion for keeping culture strong

Everything you see at our performances is made possible by our own crew

Our dancers aren't just dancers. They're also our stagehands, sound technicians, lighting operators, setup and pack-down crew. From unloading trailers and setting up equipment to stepping onto the stage and delivering powerful cultural performances, our team does it all

We own and operate all of our own sound, staging and lighting equipment, giving us the freedom to deliver our experiences independently, wherever we're needed

We've invested in our own equipment, developed our own skills and built a team that knows how to get the job done, both on and off the stage

No shortcuts. No handouts. Just hard work, teamwork and a vision that continues to grow

We're incredibly proud of what we've built and even prouder of the young people who make it all happen

We're not just developing cultural performers. We're developing leaders, technicians, problem-solvers and young people with skills that extend far beyond the dance ground
