Today, we pause to reflect and honour the courage, sacrifice and service of the ANZACs - and all those who have served our country 🌺

From sunrise to sunset today, members of our association proudly marched and played in remembrance services across Capricornia, helping communities come together to acknowledge the legacy of the ANZACs 🌅

Our players were involved in multiple services and events throughout the day, from local community commemorations to school and sporting services, spanning Rockhampton, The Caves, Marmor and further.

A special mention to Charlie C, Charlie G, Emelia, Isabel, John, Matthew and Randall, who generously dedicated their time to performing The Last Post at services across the region 🎶

We’re incredibly proud to have members who continue to use music to honour and remember those who served.

Saturday & Sunday Wrap-Up | 04–05/04/26 🎶

A brilliant way to wrap up Nationals for our Capricornia Silver Band!

On Saturday, the band delivered a controlled and musical Hymn, followed by well-executed Test Piece that showcased strong technique and balance.

Returning on Sunday, their Own Choice highlighted the band’s character and sound, before finishing in style with a spirited Stage March 👏

Combined with their efforts in the Parade of Bands, it’s been a weekend that reflects the band’s hard work, commitment and pride in representing the organisation 🥁✨

Friday Wrap-Up | 03/04/26 🎶

What a fantastic day for our bands at Nationals!

A big congratulations to our incredible Capricornia Winds, who took to the stage for the Open B Grade Concert. After weeks of tireless rehearsals, they delivered a polished and engaging performance that truly showcased their musicality, teamwork and commitment 👏

We also saw our Capricornia Silver shine in the Parade of Bands in the afternoon, bringing energy, precision and plenty of presence to the street. 🥁✨ Parade of Bands results will be released on Sunday - stay tuned for the results and gallery! 👀

We’re incredibly proud of the commitment, preparation and performance delivered by both groups - a fantastic representation all round! 💫

A huge congratulations to Charlie Cran, Alexander Brown and Matthew Gill, who represented themselves and our organisation with pride yesterday in the Solo Championships here at Nationals!

All three performed exceptionally well, showcasing not only their talent but also their dedication and hard work on the national stage 👏
