Rockhampton Musical Union Youth Choir The Rockhampton Musical Union Youth Choir (RMUYC) is a community based choir for young people aged between 8 & 18 years of age.

Rehearsals are Tuesday and Sunday at the RMU Hall, Denison Street. Please contact us for more information. The RMUYC seeks to encourage and foster and love of choral singing and performance skills via annual entry into the Queensland Eisteddfod, Concerts, Performance at Public Events and our Musical Production.

Exciting Sponsorship Opportunity - WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT!

The RMUYC has a proud history of providing singing and performance opportunities to the young people of Central Queensland. We are the only youth community choir in the region and rely heavily on Sponsorship support to keep our performances as professional and outstanding as we have become known for and to ensure as many young people as possible in our community can be involved.

Congratulations to the entire Emmaus College Rockhampton production community on an incredible, sold out season of Legally Blonde: The Musical! 💗

We are especially proud of our RMU Youth Choir members and volunteers, who truly shone both on and off the stage. Whether performing under the spotlight, playing in the band, working behind the scenes as part of the creative team, production team or costume team, your talent, commitment and passion were on full display.

This photo captures some of the incredible cast, creative team, production team, costume team and band members who will soon be joining us to follow the yellow brick road when we present The Wizard of Oz this October. 🌈✨

Congratulations to the RMU Adult Choir on a fantastic Choral Remix concert on Saturday night! It was an entertaining evening with a great range of music that showcased the choir’s talent.
