Rockhampton Little Theatre "Whats On"

Can you help? 🔎

Our archives are pretty good but a recent sorting out session revealed this photo. We don’t know who it is… can you help us identify this actor/production person?

Back in the sixties, seventies, and eighties, before photography went digital (and before the internet even existed) Rockhampton Little Theatre would put up photos like this one in the foyer. Most of them have a name written on the back, some have the name of the play that person was involved with too. This one has… nothing.

We would love to put a name to the face… do you recognise one of your relatives, or friends? Can you help?

Drop us a line on this post if you can! 🎭

RLT is calling for submissions for the coming seasons! 👀

We would be pleased to hear from people who:
1/ Have plays they would like to direct for us.
2/ Would like to direct but have no specific play in mind.
3/ Have plays they would like to see produced but may not want to direct them themselves.

Next year's seasons are:
February/March 2027 - The Long and The Short 2027. A joint season with Yeppoon Little Theatre, one week in Yeppoon followed by one week in Rockhampton. We need several short plays (3 – 5) can be anything from 5 minutes to 20 minutes. Can be any genre, comedy, drama absurdism etc.
July 2027 - We prefer our July Production to be a drama. This past year we presented Wolf Lullaby an Australian play. Last year (2025) we presented a British murder mystery Murder for the Asking. We will consider classics or curriculum plays in this season.
November 2027 - Our November play seems to work best with our audiences as a comedy. We have presented British Farces, Aussie comedies and the like in this season.
