Mark Coombe Art

Mark Coombe Art Paintings of life and landscapes in Rural Australian. My paintings are about what make life on the land special.

I'm inspired to paint subjects that affect me emotionally in some way, whether it’s the beauty of a horse’s action, the light hitting the side of an animal, or the posture of a relaxed stockman. Painting with oils I take great pride in getting the details of my subjects correct and use light to enhance the emotional impact of my paintings. Based near Rockhampton in Central Queensland I am continua

lly pushing my art to new levels. I hope my art connects with you and makes you feel that life in rural Australia is something special
