Spotted Blue Eye (Pseudomugil gertrudae)
Changed the water this morning and the whole colony lit up — full flare mode. Snapped this while they danced around the mop.

From the Weekly Water Change…Guppies? Again? Yep – but not just any guppies. These are Real Red Eye Albino (RREA) Koi Full Red High Dorsals. First guppies I’ve kept in 3 years, and already they’ve dropped fry. Worth the hype? You tell me.

Sunday water change session. I added lots of my Eucalyptus tanin tea to the tanks on the refill and suddenly, the L397’s decided to come out and say thanks. Haven’t seen these guys in 4 months!

We’re a boutique, home-based fish room located in Robertson, NSW, specialising in smaller, rarer, and carefully bred freshwater species. Our cool-climate, stable conditions produce hardy, vibrant stock that thrive in home aquariums.

• L-number Plecos (incl. L144 short fin)

• Red & Diamond Blue Cherry Shrimp
• Magenta Mystery Snails (our own selectively bred line)

We also grow a wide variety of aquatic plants and aquarium-friendly tropicals like Philodendrons, Monsteras, Syngoniums, and Epipremnum varieties – perfect for tanks, terrariums, and rimless setups.
