Looking for the perfect Christmas gift?

Open This Weekend: Olive Burgess — Can you hear the talking?

🗓 4–21 December 2025

We are thrilled to showcase Can you hear the talking?—a powerful new exhibition by Olive Burgess, exploring memory, ancestry, and the silent stories held in place and body.

Five years in the making, this collection emerges from Olive’s travels across ancestral landscapes in Ireland. Through a remarkable fusion of photoetching and sculpture, she layers microscopic images of her own body with natural material—moss, stone, earth—collected from sites of personal lineage.

A quiet but resonant dialogue between past and present.
Between self and soil.
Between what is remembered and what remains.

Join us this weekend and be among the first to experience it.

We have the perfect Christmas gifts.

SHAC GALLERY open all weekend

ANN RAYMENT — Exhibition

🗓 4–21 December 2025

We’re excited to open our final exhibition of the year with the beautiful and immersive works of Ann Rayment.
Ann’s paintings move like memory — soft coastal blues, warm inland tones, and landscapes that hold both distance and emotion. Her layered textures evoke place not just as scenery, but as feeling, history and connection.

This is your invitation to step inside the work. Wander through colour, pause in detail, and let the Australian landscape unfold in all its depth and quiet power.
