I was requested to perform maintenance on a 1970's Zimmerman grand piano and found that the adhesive bonding the key tops had deteriorated, requiring the action to be brought into the workshop to re-glue and buff all the key tops. This is a common issue with pianos from Eastern Europe of this era.
