Have done the first this year . Brief: The Tang Dynasty is regularly cited as the greatest imperial dynasty in ancient Chinese history. It is when the Han culture flourished. Hanfu, literally 'Han clothes', is one of historic Chinese clothing style that people of Tang Dynasty wore. In this drawing, the girl dressed in Hanfu is surrounded by yellow chrysanthemums, which is another unique symbol in Chinese culture. Chrysanthemums blossom in the season of falling maple leaves. Mums and maple leaves make for a beautiful autumn when they reveal their most brilliant colours. The brilliant warm colours reflect the golden age of the Tang. Golden chrysanthemums wither and die like fading maple leaves, returning to the earth the Autumn of Tang. @ Melbourne, Victoria, Australia

I’m on the train but with tears in eyes and it sucks that I cried the whole things. 😭😭
Qinni has been one of my biggest art heroes for years now. Seeing what amazing pieces she could just make while going through surgeries, illness, daily struggles was always so inspiring. Her positivity and humour only strengthen that. When I heard she passed I could think of anything beside how unfair it was. How unfair such wonderful person and talented artist had to be taken when she had so much to do in the world. The art community has suffered greatly through her loss, and while we get through it I hope that she and her family knows how much love people had for her. thank you Qinni so much for everything you made and taught us, rest easy.
