Showcasing a full cast of disabled and chronically ill performers all telling their stories through burlesque, circus, drag, song and more. From diagnosis to accepting help from mobility aids to navigating a world that wasn’t built for us, each one of these artists has a unique story to tell.

Featuring Interstate Disabili-babe, current title holder of Burlesque Muse Canberra, National Runner Up and The Apprentease Winner A.C.T. 2021 Siân Brigid! (March 6, 8, 10)

Plus a rotating cast of local chronic cuties including:

Our final night at Bar Pigalle .....such an incredible show tonight and so lovely to see Poppy Cherry MC. Decided tonight was a night for enjoying the show so no show pics tonight but just our lovely Burly Crew. All gowns by Empress Eyrie And a final shot for all the kitchen and bar staff and Whisky Falls who always looked after us so brilliantly and the final curtain call for all tonight's incredible performers. Thank you Bar Pigalle. Its been a blast 🧡❤💃

Poppy appreciation post!!

For those of you who may not know this incredible lady this is Poppy Cherry from Maison Burlesque Hostess and (co) owner of the newest, hottest Burlesque venue in town Bar Pigalle. I wanted to take a minute to highlight this particularly amazing human and say a big congratulations to Poppy for hosting not 1, but 2 Cherry Poppers Burlesque showcases tonight. 1st shows for 2021and they were awesome!! yaaaaaahhhhh. 💃❤

Poppy is not only a brilliant performer, teacher and entrepreneur who created Bar Pigalle during lockdown, whilst still providing online shows, classes and various networking opportunities for all the Maison family during Covid to save our sanity, but is genuinely the nicest, kindest, loveliest, accepting, most down to earth soul that I am so blessed to call a friend. All those who know Poppy will agree. She has put together an amazing team of exceptionally talented teachers with Maple Rose, Egson Ham, Velma Vouloir, Iva Grande, Whisky Falls, Evana De Lune, Ruby Slippers and Bella De Jac and built such a welcoming, beautiful, supportive community of phenomenal people. If you haven't been to a Cherry Poppers Showcase or Bar Pigalle as yet, do yourself a favour. Seriously best nights out. And if you've ever fancied giving Burlesque or Boylesque a try, get on to Maison Burlesque and check out the amazing variety of classes on offer.
