It's time for the kids to try ice hockey! 🏒

We're running a come and try jr ice hockey session in the school holidays
🏒Ages 16 and under
10:15am-11:15am Friday 10th July 2026

Our experienced hockey coaches are ready to start your child on their hockey journey.

🏒 (Kids can generally begin ice hockey in our programs from 5 years old, if they can skate independently and follow coaches instruction)
🏒 Ice skating experience is required (can skate around and stop independently)
🏒 Hockey experience is not required. (This session is for complete hockey beginners, if your child has played any ice hockey before, this session is not for them)
🏒 All ice hockey gear and skates provided. For these sessions children should wear sports/workout clothes that hockey gear can fit over.
🏒 Parents/guardians will not be allowed on the ice

The school holidays are approaching and we've got two intro to ice skating sessions coming up for beginner skaters of all ages ⛸️

Our intro class is designed to introduce beginners to ice skating and provide a solid foundation for their skate school journey. Students will be grouped by age to ensure they join the class that best suits their level.

Includes 30 minutes of guided instruction from our experienced Aussie Skate coaches, as well as 30mins of free practice time.

Skate hire and optional protective gear will be supplied for every registrant. Helmets must be worn for all introductory classes. Please dress warmly for the lesson

Figure skaters don't delay, we're now 50% full for our Figure Skating Jump & Spin Workshop

Running across three mornings during the school holidays, our workshop is a perfect way for high level figure skaters in Free Skate 1 and above to develop their spins and jumps. This workshop will be delivered by experienced ice dancer and coach Emily Laing, with a focus on improving the quality and consistency of skater’s jumps and spins.

Each day includes 2.25 hours of coached figure-skating skills on and off the ice to help skaters create stronger and faster spin positions, and better height and distance in their jumps. This is the perfect opportunity to get a head-start on some of the more challenging elements of Free Skate 1-4 or continue to work on figure skating’s foundational skills.

Tuesday 7th - Thursday 9th of July
9:45am - 12:15pm

Each day includes:
⛸️ 2.25 hours of coached figure-skating skills
⛸️ Guided off ice warm-up (15mins)
⛸️ Structured on-ice class focusing on spin positions, jump consistency, and overall element quality (1 hour)
⛸️ Off-ice training for strength, mobility and dynamicity (1 hour)
⛸️ Post-session snacks
⛸️ A summary document of skills taught in the workshop for self-guided practise
