TUESDAY CLASSES:

Beginners Class, 8:30 - 9:30
An hour class for anyone who's never danced before, in which we teach you the basics in Ballroom and Latin. Intermediate Class, 8:30 - 9:30
For something a little more challenging, our Intermediate Class focus on building your skills and teaching you some more advanced moves. Ken’s Advanced Workshops, 8:00 - 8:30
Ken’s workshop is for you to learn new

skills & dances or just brush up on some old ones. Tuesday Night Social Class, 8:30 - 9:30
Come dance the night away with great company or practice some skills you've picked up at one of our workshops. Practice Class, 9:30 - 10:30
A full hour focused to our more serious dancers, giving them a chance to do some dedicated practice.

Hi everyone,

MEDAL EXAM UPDATE: In light of the lastest lockdowm news, there will be no exams taking place this weekend. As such, we will be forced to reschedule to a later date. We have that everyone stays safe during this time.

Social dancing is back on this evening at regular times. As before, masks will be required and contact tracing and hand sanitising will be necessary. Any questions, let us know. Look forward to seeing you all.

Hello Everyone.


Here we go again. There will be no Social Classes or lessons for the next week i.e. Friday the 28th of May, Monday 31st of May or Tuesday the 1st of June.

Classes will resume from Friday the 4th. of June.

Hoping to see you back at dancing in a week’s time.

Hello everyone.

I hope you have all survived the pandemic without too much misery. It has been almost a year since we last danced together.

With the latest easing of restrictions we can at last get dancing again.


Our wonderful Ballroom dancing is classed as a contact sport (“DanceSport”), so, partner dancing (not just from the same household) is allowed with Face Masks. This means we can all dance with each other, and have progressive dances and line dances, the whole lot!

You may remove your mask if you are out of breath or puffing!

The classes are resuming as follows:

Adults:
Tuesday the 9th of March 2021 8:00 pm – 10:30 pm

Juniors:
Friday the 12th of March 2021 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Teenagers:
Friday the 12th of March 2021 8:00 pm – 10:30 pm

Monday Lessons: Monday the 15th of March 2021 (From 7:00 pm)


We do have to conform to safety protocols:


To minimise surface contamination no Tea, Coffee, drinking cups etc. will not be provided; B.Y.O. drinks.

Everyone must use the hand sanitiser provided and write your name and contact details at the commencement of the evening (in case we have to provide contact tracing details). That information will be destroyed after two weeks.

- ABSOLUTELY BALLROOM UPDATE -
Due to recent events regarding the Coronavirus, and for the safety of all our patrons, Absolutely Ballroom will not be running socials or lessons until further notice.

We would like to thank all those who have stuck by us up until now, and we look forward to opening the doors again when it's safe to do so.

Take care of your friends and family during this time, we hope to see you all soon!
