Redcliffe Musical Theatre, founded in 2009, brings quality musical theatre to the Moreton Bay Region.

Redcliffe Musical Theatre is the Moreton Bay Region's leading theatre group, renowned for providing affordable, high-quality theatre with a focus on including youth in all aspects. We provide affordable performance opportunities and training for actors, singers, dancers, directors and technicians; with a key focus on young people. Hundreds of locals have been involved in our shows, both as cast an

d crew, since the inaugural production of The Sound of Music in August 2010. We have a readily growing membership base, many of whom are young and all of whom are young at heart. We give back to the community through charitable donations; giving hundreds of free tickets to nursing homes, outpatients and families, and through performances at charity events and aged care facilities across the region. Above all, we have become a major part of the cultural life at the Redcliffe Peninsula and surrounding area. We are often complemented by sold out performances, and ongoing support from local businesses and the general public. Redcliffe Musical Theatre is thrilled to announce the opportunity for you to experience an INTIMATE Interview with one of Australia's TV Royalty - IAN McFADYEN of Comedy Company fame.
Enjoy this unique afternoon event - Sunday June 14th at 2pm - in a relaxed and intimate environment at THEATRE 102 (at 102 Anzac Avenue, Redcliffe).

Ian will give insights into how a group of unknowns came to produce the highest rating show on television and how much television has changed since the 80s - what you could do then that you can't do now!
Along with nostalgic recollections of some of the funniest moments of TV from the 80s and 90s.

We will take your questions from the floor for Ian to answer - so come along and see IAN up close and personal - have a laugh and a drink and enjoy some memories.

We will also be giving you an exclusive insight into IAN's latest project and how to get the opportunity to book in before anyone else in Australia.

The Redcliffe Entertainment Centre will be buzzing with excitement throughout the afternoon. From the moment the doors open there will be giant bubbles at the entry and audiences will be welcomed into a space filled with music, laughter, and anticipation. The foyer (FREE ENTRY) becomes a stage to feature young and emerging local performers plus an interactive activity Creaturely Encounters, while in the main theatre you can be among the first to see two new works in development, all tix $5.

A joyful puppet musical set by the bush and beach, inviting children and families to laugh, sing, and celebrate creativity.

Maria the Musical
This musical is inspired by the true journey of Maria, a Chilean immigrant whose resilience and hope shine through powerful songs and storytelling. As a work in development, this performance will feature scenes and songs hosted by writer/director Cindy Sykes plus a live band and over a dozen performers.

To all the MUMs and Grandmothers in our local Community.

It's MOTHER's Day next Sunday and we want to give you a very special Celebration this Friday May 8th at 11am at THEATRE 102.
We are bringing you a MUM's MUSICAL MORNING concert.
Our RMT Youth Performers are ready and waiting to sing for you - they have crafted a programme of songs that their Mums enjoy - so we think you'll love the music. And there is a light morning tea provided before the Concert so you can catch up with friends and family before you go into the theatre.

This concert has been kindly supported by the REDCLIFFE RSL and we love that local theatre and a local Community venue like the RSL can work together to bring happiness to our older residents of the Redcliffe Peninsula and surrounds.
TICKETS - $15 Concession or $20 Adult.
Just let us know in the booking details if you need space for a wheelchair or a wheelie walker so we can accommodate for your needs.
