Reminiscence – an evening to remember ✨
We’re still basking in the glow of Sunday’s Reminiscence concert.
Against the enchanting backdrop of the Redcliffe Treehouse, our guests gathered over delicious grazing platters before settling in for an evening of music that moved from haunting a ca****la harmonies to heartfelt piano-accompanied songs, a special performance from our own Barbershop Quartet, and the vibrant rhythms of classical jazz.
A highlight was the Australian premiere of a beautiful work from our Music Director Chloe’s homeland, Korea, before our wonderful Jazz Trio brought an entirely new energy and dimension to our sound.
We closed the evening as we began – with voices alone – singing The Road Home to an appreciative audience.
Our hope was to create something more than a concert: a warm, welcoming feast for the senses, where beautiful music, food, atmosphere and friendship came together. From the wonderful feedback we’ve received, we feel we achieved just that. ❤️
Our heartfelt thanks to City of Moreton Bay for their generous support; to our superb musicians Patrick Baldwin, Isaac Worland and Lochlan Robinson from the Jazz Music Institute; and to the wonderful team at Redcliffe Treehouse, who helped us create such a special setting.
And most importantly, thank you to everyone who filled the room and shared the evening with us. Performing to a full house was an absolute joy.
Until our next musical adventure… 🎶
