What a beautiful afternoon spent creating with these wonderful mums and daughters.

The mums painted my vibrant octopus design while the kids were free to paint their favourite characters and ideas.

There were smiles, laughter, colourful hands, proud little artists and lots of creativity.

One of my favourite things to hear is:

“I can’t paint.”

Because a few hours later they’re usually holding a masterpiece and asking when the next class is. 💙

🎨 Artists at 11pm:
“I just had an idea…”
Me: I should probably sleep.
Also me: grabs canvas, pencil and starts sketching immediately.
The voices in my head 🤪
No sleep tonight. We’ve got a turtle idea, a new exhibition to prepare for, and a brain that refuses to switch off.
Sometimes the best ideas arrive at the most inconvenient times… and if you’re an artist, you know there’s no ignoring them.
So here I am, late at night, sketching out the beginnings of what might become my next exhibition piece. 🐢✨
Anyone else get hit with creative ideas the moment their head touches the pillow?

Booked out! 🎉🎨

I’ve just finished hosting two amazing art workshops at .au Theia Studios as part of the Central Coast Arts Trail, and what a fun morning it’s been!

So many colourful creations, smiling faces, and creative little artists. Thank you to everyone who came along and made it such a special experience.

is now taking over for the rest of the day, so come down, say hello, meet the artists, explore the studios, and enjoy a wonderful weekend celebrating local art.

What a fun night out at Wangi for the Dobell Festival! 🎨✨

Great food, a few drinks, lots of laughs, and wonderful conversations with fellow artists, art lovers, and some lovely supporters of my work. Thank you to everyone who stopped for a chat- it always means so much!

I was also happy to help out by selling raffle tickets and supporting this fantastic community event.

But then… I made the mistake of wandering past this incredible seahorse sculpture by local artist Jim Green. 🐚💙

Created from welded scrap metal including bicycle chains, spoon handles, and other recycled treasures, it completely captured my attention. The craftsmanship, creativity, and character were amazing.

I saw it.
I loved it.
I couldn’t leave without it.

So naturally… it came home with me! 😍

Supporting local artists while adding a beautiful new piece to my collection- I’d call that a pretty successful night.
