Founded in 2015, Chicken and Chips Casting is a Full Service Casting Company for Film, Television, TVCs & New Media with offices in Sydney, Brisbane & Melbourne led by Principal Casting Directors Alison Fowler & Stephanie Pringle. Recent credits include Australian pioneer film The Flood directed by Victoria Wharfe McIntyre, Ellie & Abbie (and Ellie’s Dead Aunt) directed by Monica Zanetti (the firs

As proud members of the Casting Guild of Australia they are both a part of the Guild’s Diversity Committee to continue their work in advocating for representation and diversity in Casting. Both are mentored by Casting Industry legend, Fiona Dann. Steph & Al are considered the actors’ casting directors - they are nurturing and unique in their audition room by respecting and understanding the actor’s process which in turn achieves the best performance possible in the studio and are discovering new techniques and ways of casting via online platforms. Creative collaboration with filmmakers is key to their casting process (preferably and most often done over Margaritas).
