Update on our situation

To our loyal customers/friends/family/our community โค๏ธ
We would like to thank everyone that has come to Pomona market to support our family business during this rough patch.

Unfortunately the storm is far from over, today our little boy Zeke will need to be transferred to Brisbane for further treatment/heart surgery on the cards, he has been receiving the highest level of care by the wonderful staff at SCUH but he is no longer progressing and needs extra support/care, we have been provide accommodation at Ronald McDonald house and we will be there for the duration of his stay, which is undetermined at this stage.

In terms of the bakery, to produce for the market it requires 3 days of prep, each day is 18hours (as my other baker left) considering that and the time it would take me to drive from Brisbane + the fact that we have our 2 year old that needs to be cared for while 1 of us is with Zeke at the hospital. I have decided to close the bakery completely while I focus my time and energy to my family who need me the most right now.

Normally I am not one to ask for anything in my life but I need to be physically available in Brisbane, doing so means we lose our income. We have bakery running costs/repayments/mortgage and ongoing medical cost for Zeke. My friend has kindly set up a go fund me page to help support our family during our time of need and we appreciate any support you have capacity for. We canโ€™t wait to be back doing what we love and proving baked goodies to our community ๐Ÿ™
