The FgO needs a home! We have lost our Tuesday night rehearsal space and are on the lookout for a new one, somewhere between Altona and Footscray. Could be anything from an unused room in a pub to a community hall. Free or low cost would be ideal.
If you know of anywhere, please message us and we will be forever grateful!

Sadly ... 😢😢😢

Due to the rain, the Seddon Fun and Games Fair is not able to run as planned today - which means the FgO (and all the other acts at Rosie The Caravan) will not play.

Acts on the main stage are on however, so you can still see Jen Hawley and Caitlin French there at 1pm!

As for us, it leaves you with no choice but to come to our end-of-year gig on Friday 6th at the Pirates Tavern if you want to see us in 2024 ...

Anja & Zlatna preserves the beauty of traditional melodies from the beautiful Balkans and beyond, enhancing them with the structural architecture of baroque and modern languages. The various possibilities of the recorders are explored, the sounds ranging from baroque flute to Eastern wind instruments such as kaval or ney with their intriguing vibrato and intonations.

Tune in to Global Village Worldwide Music PBS from 5pm on Sunday September 8 for an exclusive Studio 5 Live performance and interview with Anja & Zlatna.
