Play It Forward is excited to be announced last night as a finalist in the Redlands 2024
Business Excellence awards!

This is a great tribute to our entire Play It Forward board, music & admin staff, volunteers, collaborators and all the wonderful participants of our programs,
led by our fearless founding artistic director - Jonathon Welch AM and everyone’s tirrless passion and commitment to deliver inclusive arts programs for all Australians.

Congratulations to all the other nominees and finalists in all the categories, and the Redlands Chamber of Commerce for their fantastic work promoting and supporting the Redlands business community!

Winners will be announced on Oct 19, 2024.

STANDING OVATIONS & RAVE REVIEWS!

ECOTORIO premiered last night at The Edge, Federation Square at Melbourne International Singers Festival’s 1st showcase concert.

We can’t thank everyone enough who was involved in making this historic performance possible - the singers, accompanists and musicians conducted superbly by Jonathon Welch AM, along with the board, admin and volunteers from Play It Forward and the audience that gave the artists a standing ovation and overhwhelmingly rapturous response to our new Australian work - singing out about climate change!

And finally to our two incredible composers - Dave Newington and Jonathon Welch AM for their extraordinary vision, dedication and talent, to bring ECOTORIO to life for the world to now experience and enjoy.

But most importantly - to Mother Earth, for her grace and patience as we help and hope all humans on this planet now understand and realise that our time here is a precious gift that can never be taken for granted, and we must care for her if we are to sustain our existence now.

Please, think carefully about the choices you make now, and always remember -
