, Kwella Swingsters, Havana Palava) began the group a few years ago. Their aim was to form an inclusive and supportive music making environment for people of all skills and abilities. Over the last year, due to other committments Strat and Andy have stepped aside and Botso is now run by a dedicated committee of volunteers.. Our session leaders will be arranging and teaching tunes for stringed instruments, from a wide variety of styles and genres. The Brunswick Old Time String Orchestra is aimed at string players with broad ranging ability…beginners who can scratch or pick out a few notes to experienced, fluent players. There will be something to satisfy everyone! We are currently learning a repertoire of 12 songs lead by Josh Bennett (Bombay Royale). We hope to perform these at festivals and events in 2017. We are always open to new members.
