Inside out or not? What do we think? I prefer the other way, the 'wrong' way. Or maybe I could try to put the holes elsewhere 🤔 But then I'll have it cut even more and it's a bit tedious because I have to cut it by hand lol. Perhaps I could try to use my Dremel.. but when I tried to use it for wood in the past, it never really worked all that well. I guess more experiments are ahead!

Happy pride month! These were painted a few years ago, the poly and pan were randomly picked from a jar of options. But I think I should add a few more to the collection, what do you think?

So keen to improve my Withers cosplay, I'm keen to wear it again. The clothes themselves need to be adjusted so they fit better. There needs to be more chest showing. I want an easier way to have the bandages around the arms, and I want to add his gold around the arms, and also make the golden chest piece. I want to make his staff and belt too, and the shoulder cap needs to be improved. I also need to practice posing and standing like Withers 😅

Here is the finished moon painting! because I painted it on a too small canvas, I couldn't stretch it the normal way. So I thought about doing it this way. It damages the canvas more than regular stretching, but it gives it a completely different vibe hey. I'll probably make a video about all the things I'd do differently next time 😅

I'd never added eyelets to anything and it was a struggle 😅 I also made the holes much too close to the edge. But the vision is coming to life, almost there 🫪

My process in making my paintings for Incognito Art Show Sydney. My initial idea of painting nebulas on all 3 cards didn't work out well, so I cut out some canvas and painted on those. I chose not to go with nebulas. Once that was done and varnished, I glued the canvas on the cards. I do hope I didn't mess it up when I glued it on; I folded the edges over which ever so slightly alters the size of the card. Hopefully they'll still be acceptable (it would be a real shame if they weren't, I spent quite a long time painting them 😅). Anyways, they were all packed up and sent off. The incognito art show in SYDNEY is 24 – 26 June
Sale (to view in person), and sale is 27 June – 5 July, at Carriageworks. They've also already dropped thousands of paintings on their website, so you can start browsing and making a wishlist. It's also happening in Brisbane and Townsville.

Finally varnished these older and newer paintings. All of them are unstretched. And I realised midway through that none of these have been signed on the front. That's ok, they'll have text on the back to identify them and me. Anyways, I've got a special idea to stretch some of these, hopefully it'll work 🙌

PS if it sounds and looks a bit funny, I had to speed up the original video to keep it under 3 minutes 😅
