Throughout the development of Flesh Mirror, we sadly lost Uncle Greg Muir in 2024. An integral member of the WEAVE ensemble whose generous energy and ideas helped shape the work into what it became.

We dedicated this production to Uncle Greg and his extraordinary spirit.

Arts House. Five nights. Packed audiences.

Thank you to everyone who came to experience Flesh Mirror with us. Your energy in that room made every performance different.

Special thanks to Arts House and Melbourne Fringe for presenting this work as part of Pulse.

"The large stage of the Arts House is perfectly lit, thanks to the skills of Harrie Hogan and the sound design by Marco Cher meant that the packed house could hear every word. Not an easy feat in such a large space." - Theatre Matters

Great performance needs great technical support. Lighting, sound, costume design (Geoffrey Watson), mobile cameras, floating screens.

Flesh Mirror was a technical achievement as much as an artistic one.

Thank you to the entire creative team.

"David Baker as John Lemon, dressed spot on perfect as John Lennon (wonderful costume by Geoffrey Watson), tries valiantly to keep the microphone to sing Imagine, as his compatriots vie for the spotlight. Slapstick funny and the best laugh I've had for a long time." - Theatre Matters

The irony of trying to sing Imagine while literally wrestling for the mic. Art that makes you laugh while making you think.

Costume design: Geoffrey Watson. Performance: pure chaos and comedy.

"Florence, a dancer, swirls around in her electric wheelchair. We swirl with her, her point of view encapsulated in the camera on wheels. We are her and she is us." - Theatre Matters

When performers commandeer the camera equipment and control their own perspective, something shifts. You don't just watch the choreography. You inhabit it.

Flesh Mirror explored parallel realities and the spaces between what we see and what we imagine.

Final performance today.

Some experiences only exist for a brief moment, then live on in the conversations they start and the way they shift how you see yourself and others.

Flesh Mirror - final matinee performance today (Sunday) 3:30pm.

Don't let this slip into the parallel reality where you missed it.

Flesh Mirror.

Film Artist Zoe Scoglio brings collaborative, participatory artistry to our video elements. Their work explores how creative practice can open up possibilities for collective unlearning and emergent cultural forms.

In Flesh Mirror, video weaves throughout live performance, creating portals between screen and stage, between documentary and fiction.

What emerges when boundaries dissolve?
