There aren't many places left where that's normal. Psytrance gives people a room where they can drop every role they play all week and just exist. Nobody asks what you do or who you know. Everyone is there for the same thing, and you can feel it in every single person around you.
The music is the doorway, but the community is why people stay. Strangers who look out for each other, share water, share space, share the kind of joy you can't explain to someone who hasn't felt it.
That's what makes this scene special. It isn't just the sound, it's the way it makes people kinder, braver and more themselves.
