Not quite sure what Modern Jive actually is? This is Le Bop. 👀

It’s social partner dancing to the kind of music you already know — from pop and rock to R&B — and it’s a whole lot of fun. 💜

And if you’re thinking, “Looks great, but I don’t have anyone to go with” — you don’t need to bring a partner.

We rotate partners throughout the class, so you can come on your own, learn the basics and dance with lots of different people along the way.

Never partner danced before? Perfect. That’s exactly what our Beginner class is for.

✨ 25 YEARS. SO MANY PEOPLE. SO MANY STORIES. ✨

On Saturday Night 10 October, we’re bringing together 25 years of The Space for one very special Dancers’ Den.

Over the years, thousands of people have walked through our doors. Some came for a class. Some taught here. Some rehearsed, performed, created or worked here. Some practically lived here. And some haven’t been back through those doors for a very long time.

This is your invitation to come back.

⭐ To see who you recognise.
⭐ To reconnect with people you haven’t seen in years.
⭐ To dance with old friends and new ones.
⭐ To remember a few things you’d completely forgotten.
⭐ And to celebrate the incredible community that has grown around The Space since 2001.

There’ll be dancing, music, pop-up performances, freestyle moments and plenty happening throughout the night... but mostly, we want to fill the room with the people who made The Space what it is.

Whether you were here in 2001, joined us last month, or found your way to The Space somewhere in between, you’re part of the story.
