There is something profoundly beautiful about the 18th century.

This Louis XVI salon suite has lived a life.
The gilding is worn, softened by time.
Edges chipped, details faded… not lost, but remembered.

And yet, what remains is far more important than what has disappeared.

The soul.

Upholstered in original Aubusson tapestry, each piece tells a story drawn from the fables of Jean de La Fontaine, the great storyteller of the French Enlightenment.
Scenes of animals, nature, and quiet morality woven not just for decoration, but for reflection… for conversation… for the salons of a world that believed ideas could change everything.

These were not just chairs.

They were witnesses.

To whispered conversations.
To laughter behind closed doors.
To philosophy, seduction, politics… and the birth of modern thought.

The Louis XVI form elegant, restrained, rational, a departure from excess, echoing a society on the edge of transformation.
Straight lines, fluted legs, balance and symmetry… a quiet rebellion against the past.

And still, the tapestries endure.

Centuries later, the stories remain woven into them, not perfect, not untouched, but alive.

Because beauty is not in perfection.

It is in what survives.

When time is the most valuable commodity…

you don’t measure it.you feel it.

These clocks have been beating for centuries.Through different lives, different rooms, different moments.

They do not know the years that have passed. They simply continue…

tick by tick… like a heartbeat.

And standing here with them, you realise
there is no gap in time at all.

When You Upgrade Your Spotify Account

I left these pieces in France for years.
Not by accident.
I just wasn’t ready.
But lately I’ve felt it…..
empty… lost… hollow.

And somehow…

they woke something in me I didn’t know how to reach anymore.

The harp.
The clocks.
The Louis XV canapé
The Louis XVI salon

The clocks…
they’ve always felt like a heartbeat to me.
A reminder that time moves,
even when you feel like you’re standing still.

And the harp…
that’s something else.
That’s the part of me that still feels.
The part that never really left.

Not just history
something I needed around me again.
Maybe it’s not about closing anything.

Maybe it’s about what you create once it comes back.
