"I had such a great time at Ultimate Girls Weekend. There was so much to experience, from workshops and creative activities to entertainment, stalls and meeting other women. One of my personal highlights was the hat burning workshop, which I absolutely loved. I came home exhausted, but in the best possible way, with lots of memories and plenty to talk about! It was lovely having a weekend away from everyday life, trying new things, having a laugh and sharing the experience with my cousin. I’m really glad I went and would definitely love to see the event continue to grow."

We were so sorry to hear about the passing of Dolly Parton.

She was an extraordinary woman, and her kindness, generosity and unwavering ability to lift others up is something we have always deeply admired.

Ironically, we had scheduled a mail out today to our mailing list announcing next year’s Friday night entertainment - a Cowgirl Country-themed night featuring a Dolly Parton Dress-Up Competition and line dancing.

So, waking up to this news has left our hearts feeling a little tender this morning.

Dolly was so much more than a country music icon. She was a woman who built a legacy around kindness, resilience, generosity and making people feel like they belonged - values that are very close to our hearts and to everything we hope The Ultimate Girls Weekend represents.

So rather than changing our plans, we think we’ll do what Dolly would have wanted…

Put on the big hair.
Add the sparkle.
Pull on the boots.
And celebrate her. 🤍✨

Next year, Friday night will be our little tribute to an extraordinary woman who inspired generations of women to be unapologetically themselves.

The world has lost a beautiful woman today - Dolly, thank you for showing the world how to be unapologetically yourself, while always lifting others up along the way. 🌸✨
