Thomas Tjapaltjarri is one of three brothers you've probably seen us mention previously. Known as 'The Last Nomads' Thomas walked out of the desert in 1984 having lived as a traditional hunter gatherer up until that point.

He and his brothers Walala and Warlimpirrnga Tjapaltjarri all took up painting and have each developed a great talent and their own style of depicting Tingari - one of the great creation myths of their people.

These pieces are available separately, but they look fantastic together and are at a price point where you wouldn't need to break the bank to buy them together if so inclined.

They're going up on the website today along with a few other pieces by Thomas, so you'll be bale to get some details on the sizing and price of each painting there, so we invite you to visit.

Some of our available artworks are really big pieces - so big in fact that we've been keeping them in rolls, which means they don't get seen very often - which bothers us quite a bit. These pieces are perfect for corporate spaces like lobbies or offices, or in the right house with walls of a size able to accommodate them.

With the new display space we've set up, we finally have the room to hang some of these 3m+ sized paintings and we're jumping at the chance. We're going to be having some of these larger pieces stretched onto frames over the next few weeks. We'll post them when we've got them on the walls, but before we do, even rolled out on the ground these large pieces are very impressive aren't they?

We cant wait to see them as they should be viewed, and if you'd like top see them or purchase them, you can make a booking for a tour of our space in Port Melbourne by visiting our website and making an appointment.

Our entry into the world of Australian Aboriginal art began with the artwork of this lady - Lorna Fencer Napurrula. He bright and vibrant works mostly celebrate the foods used in the traditions of her people and look absolutely fantastic on a wall.

We have a large collection of her paintings - these are just a sample - and we're confident that these joyfully colourful paintings will lift the energy in any room in which they reside. They always make us smile, and we think the same would be true of most people.

Contact us if you find these paintings appealing, we have a variety of sizes and price points available on our website and would be thrilled to connect you with artwork that you can enjoy in your home or office space for years to come.

Congratulations to our good friends at Bayley Stuart Capital for their recently purchasing another great office building at 31 Queen Street Melbourne.

Congratulations and thanks also, for purchasing and installing two fine Aboriginal paintings in the lobby space - they certainly add an extra cultural dimension and creative style to the space.

The works are by Walala Tjapaltjarri, one of the last nomads and an incredible member of the Australian Aboriginal art movement. Walala and his family lived as traditional hunter gatherers for the early parts of their lives before making contact with modern society in 1984 - and then he and his brothers all became very talented and influential artists.
