Because people thought we only sold paper. Alice in Paperland is a unique business as an Arts & Crafts store with a cafe called Coffee at Alice's, gift shop, creative classes and workshops. If you are interested in anything crafty, would like to do a class or two with some awesome teachers or want to pop in for a great coffee and food, this is the place to go. Tuesday- SPLATTER & CHATTER

Wednesday- U3A Cardmaking.

Saturday- HANDPRINTED CARDS & WRAPPING PAPER With Gaynor Heading. 9.30 to 3.30pm $55.90 all inclusive. A couple of spots left. Please contact us for more details.

Saturday- SHOP OPEN 9am to 2pm. Gerard Smith will be at the store from 9am to 12 noon to answer any technical art questions you may have.

DIY Work on your own project day!!

Come and work on your own project among like minded friends. It can be in any medium or creative pursuit. It's a social, fun day.

9am to 2.30pm. Light morning tea provided. House coffee/HC on the house. Barista made coffee available. $8 for the day. Must book!

What's on this week?!?

After a packed week last week, we're having a more chilled week this week. Besides our usual art groups who meet here, we have our Junk Journal group on Friday, from 9.30am with some spots left.

Chitter Chatter on Tuesday is now booked out with a waiting list.

If you are interested in joining a small art group, we do have a couple of vacancies in our Splatter and Chatter group, who meet on Tuesdays. The group meets downstairs and enjoy the social side of "arting" together so be prepared for lots of laughter and fun. From 9am until around lunchtime. $7 Must book!

Welcome to a wet and cold Monday.

We have a lovely week of classes and art groups meeting this week. Our classes are completely booked out with a waiting list but here is an idea of what's in store.

Also, barista coffees are back on again so see you in store for a coffee, class or both. :-)

DAY 2 of Hastings Arts Trail

We had a lovely day yesterday and more on for today. Di and others will be giving free demos through the day so come over and say hello. This is a great community event, which will be on until 4pm this afternoon. The shop will also be open during this time.

The Arts Trail weekend has begun. We have demos and art sales as well as our store open today until 4pm snd tomorrow from 10am to 4pm.

The ladies from Art Tribe are busy getting ready for a big weekend here, with Hastings Arts Trail. All Saturday and Sunday so come and be a part of this amazing community. There will be other demonstrations and activities going on in the shop at the same time, throughout the weekend.
