Our workshops are designed to keep you in the zone and give your mind a total break from everyday life with lots of laughter, arts, paints, weaving and silk painting workshops. You could try our Mesmerising Acrylic Pouring Workshop or Watercolours, Charcoals, Inks & Soft Pastels Workshops. Perhaps you'd like to learn how to do Random Weaving or Traditional Aboriginal weaving. Perhaps you've always

Join us for our Sensational Silk Painting Workshop on Saturday 12th September, 2026 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the picturesque Sea Scouts Hall, Buller Street, PMQ, overlooking the sparkling Hastings River in beautiful Birpai Country.

Whether you're a seasoned artist or trying your hand at something new, our workshop offers an incredible opportunity to immerse yourself in the ancient art of silk painting. Under the guidance of renowned local silk artist Debbs Robinson, you'll receive 6 hours of in-depth tuition using the finest materials, including a 48cm x 48cm silk square to take home!

Hope it's a beautiful day like this for our Introduction to Silk Painting Workshop on Saturday 12th September, 11am - 5pm at the Sea Scouts Hall, 9 Buller Street, Port Macquarie. This is a 2 metre silk of an underwater scene that I did nearly 13 years ago now! Had to put it sideways to get it all in. 😁I was still learning this ancient art form and pushing the boundaries even back then. I fell in love with Silk Painting the very first time I tried it and you will too! It really nurtures your soul like no other art can. If you haven't done this, you are missing out on a thrilling experience.

Cooeee! 🙋🏼‍♀️🌅 Memories of last year's weaving commission. Such a wonderful feeling when you finally do the last stitch!

This took about three months to complete just doing a bit everyday. I was very happy with the way it evolved. Weaving is grounding, mindful and joyful and I love it all ... the gathering of materials, the process itself and especially the end result!❣️

Hope you're going to have some fun this weekend and do something you love to do. 🌅🙋🏼‍♀️

You only need to bring your lunch, a drink and a paint shirt! Everything else is provided for you including your 48cm x 48 cm habotai silk, your versatile frame, quality Japanese brushes, a myriad of colourful dyes, at least 25 different designs to choose from or maybe you prefer a freehand design, guidance all the way to completion and a scrumptious afternoon tea as well. Here are some pics of previous Silk Painting workshops. It's a fantastic experience and we've got another coming up on Saturday 12th September 11am - 5pm at the rear of the Sea Scouts Hall, 9 Buller Street, Port Macquarie.

You only need to bring your lunch and a paint shirt as everything else is provided for you including a scrumptious afternoon tea! The silks you will be painting on are 48cm x 48cm. They can be framed or used as a scarf or made into a cushion cover or used as a centrepiece for something else you may be making!❣️

It's only $150pp for this awesome experience ($140pp if you book with a buddy or your Mumma!). All bookings on 0434 464646.

Cooeee! Good morning everyone. Well the garden certainly looks like it enjoyed all the rain. We certainly did get some heavy falls here in Port which was great after a month or so of no rain!

I recently made these little felt hats for two of my grand daughters. One loves pink 🩷 and one loves purple! 💜 I'm so pleased that they fit them perfectly and the girls love them!
