Our workshops are designed to keep you in the zone and give your mind a total break from everyday life with lots of laughter, arts, paints, weaving and silk painting workshops. You could try our Mesmerising Acrylic Pouring Workshop or Watercolours, Charcoals, Inks & Soft Pastels Workshops. Perhaps you'd like to learn how to do Random Weaving or Traditional Aboriginal weaving. Perhaps you've always

been fascinated by the ancient art of Silk Painting or longed to make a Melon Basket or Platter. This is your place to meet with other creatives and do all those things and more!

Ready to try something truly different with wet felting? Say goodbye to the flat resist and hours of rolling – and hello to felting on a ball! If you can bounce a ball, you can felt a beautiful, one-of-a-kind bag or hat in this exciting workshop!
This playful, hands-on technique is a game-changer. You’ll use premium 100% merino and alpaca wools, crimped Corriedale locks, silk threads, and more to create a functional, stunning felt bag that’s bursting with personality. No prior experience is necessary – this workshop is perfect for total beginners or seasoned felters wanting to explore a new 3D method with so much less effort!

Please Note:
This workshop does involve a couple of bursts of ball-bouncing throughout the day – great fun, but does require a bit of upper body movement. Ages 14+ recommended.

A huge thankyou to at Port Macquarie for organising this year's Traditional Aboriginal Basket Weaving workshop for young Occupational Therapists about to sit their final exams! 🙏🏾

We had such a fun day sharing culture and connecting with your 50 students who were doing on the spot assessments on cultural practices and the hands on workshop activities and then heading straight into finals the next morning!

Cooeee! 🙋🏼‍♀️ Oh my goodness! Silk Painting is such fun! 👏🏼👏🏼😁 Thankyou to everyone who came and painted a gorgeous silk.🙏🏽 This is a precious ancient art form and I feel blessed to be able to share the process. This is a beginners class so no pressure. It's a very fun, peaceful workshop and the results are stunning.

I've just announced our next date for Silk Painting .... 12th September and if you're keen, please don't wait until the last minute to book. There are only 8 places ( oops .. two are sold so only 6 places ) available for this intriguing workshop. This is the last one for the year.

If you wish to do your own design and not one of ours, please let me know in advance so I can advise you on how to prepare it ready for class as there's no time to sort this on the day. You can, of course, use a design straight out of your head and just freehand it! 😁

Cooeee! Look at how much fun we have at our Random Weave Workshops! I love how everyone has a different idea about how they want their weave to look. We had so many fibres to choose from to make our sculptures and most of it was used up on the day. Once your brain clicks into the fact that it is totally possible to make something useful, interesting and beautiful out of these reeds and vines .... you're away! Your brain starts putting it together for you. It's a marvellous, organic process.❣️

Join us for our Sensational Silk Painting Workshop on Saturday 23rd May, 2026 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the picturesque Sea Scouts Hall, Buller Street, PMQ, overlooking the sparkling Hastings River in beautiful Birpai Country.

Cooeee! 🎂🎂🎂🍾Happy birthday to this special guy! Over the last 8 years, Mark Hurst has been my right hand man running this business.

He's always lurking in the background at workshops, ready to help, waiting on attendees hand and foot, serving up delicious tucka and making thousands of teas and coffees for you while you work! He helps me on workshop days loading and unloading the car, setting up tables and chairs and generally just making sure everything is aok! I thank you from the bottom of my heart darling for ALL your help. 🙏🏽❣️
