Last nights flexi hawk 7 race was great race with nearly everyone at some stage leading the race, then something happened and they lost their lead.
Bruce ended up winning by 2 laps over DJR, who was leading for over half the race, until forgetting about fuel while racing with Bruce. Skimmo was running a strong second until a lead wire came off leaving his car stopped over the bridge, poor Skimmo was 3 laps behind now. Level with Skimmo was Troy who also was fast and up leading at times. Story of the night was Ray, who was flying and ended up finishing 5th only 5 laps behind. Another good story was how good young Lachlan was driving. Leading nearly all his heats but tangling with Ron near the end of each heat going from 1st to 3rd or 4th depending on how fast the marshals reacted, not fast enough for a fired up Lachlan!!!
In the end Ron got the sh*ts and went to go home but then had to wait to we all finished to unlock his car with his keys locked in the car lol.
Special mention to Haydon how his speed is improving always near the leaders.

Last nights Slotworx open event Wednesday 2/9/26.
Troy continued his comeback to form with another win following his cheetah 4 victory last Friday he out paced out shone everyone.
His job was made easier in heat 8 where everyone jumped the start thanks to Deano going early everyone except Troy jumped and penalized 2 laps with that been said Troy although under pressure from Ray djr and Allan always looked to be in control. A great drive from Deano saw him take out 4th one lap in front of Jorgo who finally got out of his sick bed and joined us. So good to see you better Jorgo.Haydon and Jason once again showed more speed and driving skills untill wheel problems caused Jason to head to pits. Young Sam also late in the race learnt that smooth and steady gets him up the leaderboard faster laps and less crashing well done Sam

Last nights Slotworx Open race was won by riddler some 7 laps ahead of a well deserved second place getter Ray. It was a welcome back to form by Ray who has been languishing in 2nd division a lot lately but because there was no qualifying last night he found himself in the big time and showed he should always be there. On the same laps was an exceptional fast Allan. Graham was a lap behind the podium. Then there was a group of 7 drivers all battling back and forth fighting for 5 th place with Tim winning out over djr Haydon and young Axle. Deano had some great tussles with an unnamed Porsche driver.

Last weeks v8 supercar race was held at the Ipswich track and was won by the castrol racing team of Graham and Haydon although the stewards are still meeting over a replay showing that one of the drivers did more time at the wheel than supercars regs allowed.
Well done guys let’s hope the tribunal doesn’t over turn the result.

Tim has been improving every week and last week we named his achievement under the title of brm king.
He won the Brm / Scaleauto 1/24 open race won the Brm Es**rt race and finished on the podium in the classic and Mini race, well done Tim

Results from our flexi cheetah race last night.
A big congratulations to young Sam making his first div 1 after the qualifying well done young fella. Also Haydon making his first div 1 entry.
In div 1 it was a tight tight race with Troy starting off slowly in his m28 powered cheetah with riddler leading the way, then djr took over in the middle stages and was some 2 laps ahead and then some greedy thinking of I will get another lap but ran out of fuel and cost a lap while getting back to fuel bay. In the last 15 seconds while djr was on a bye first Troy went past then riddler. Graham was another that started slowly but his speed at end was fast. In div 2 it was Ray who won every heat and must make a better effort in qualifying to make the big grade. Mike was strong all night and Jason had a few podium finishes. Well done. Big improvements from Ron and Danni won’t be long to winning a heat or 2 danni
