🌹 As we enter the nine sacred nights of Navaratri this evening, I find myself feeling deeply grateful.

~

Holding this beautiful October 2026 devotional companion, Navaratri: Nine Nights of the Mother, written by our beautiful teacher and sister Kristin Marshall feels like holding a little piece of a prayer answered.

~

This is perhaps my fifth year in devotion to Navaratri under Kristin Marshall beautiful care, and each year I find myself returning to this sacred space with an open heart. The depth of devotion, the wisdom of the Jyotisā, and the way Kristin holds this space with such tenderness, care and inclusion is something I am profoundly grateful for.

~

Over the years, this devotional companion has become a beautiful pathway into the teachings, the prayers and the unfolding of the nine nights. A space to pause, to listen, to learn, to deepen our devotion and to sit in the presence of the Divine Mother.

~

Tonight, we begin with the Prayer to Mother, opening our hearts as we step into these nine nights of reverence, reflection and devotion.

~

Sister Kristin Marshall , thank you for the years of devotion you have poured into these teachings and for the beautiful space you continue to hold for us. Thank you for the wisdom, the invitation and the gentle reminder that devotion is something we live, breathe and return to.

~

Tonight, we begin again.

Nine nights of the Mother.
Nine nights of listening, learning and devotion.
Nine nights of returning to the sacred.

With an open heart and deep gratitude, I enter these nine nights.

Feeling the call for Guidance Readings
Saturday 10th October 2026

~

I have a beautiful Saturday, 10/10/2026, put aside from wedding ceremonies to create space for Guidance Readings.

With the 10/10 New Moon energy rising, this feels like a beautiful time to pause, listen inwardly, reflect and make space for what is ready to unfold.

~

Your reading begins with your four foundation questions.

These may be around:

Personal relationships
Wellbeing
Career
New beginnings

From there, I craft your reading around what comes through for you, creating a personal and practical offering you can return to.

You will receive a full, detailed written reading by email, including photographs of your Guidance Reading cards and the messages that arise through our consultation.

~

Alongside your reading, I create your personal MANA Map — a practical ritual, routine or gentle practice to support you on your journey.

Walking With Bhairavī

~

To walk with Bhairavī is to become a faithful keeper of the inner flame// words by my beautiful sister and teacher as we move into our fifth night of Gupta Navarātri

~

“The spiritual path is not built through occasional moments of inspiration, but through the quiet rhythm of returning.”

For me, this is a reminder that consistency is the heart of devotion.

~

It is not always the extraordinary moments that shape us most, but the quiet commitment to return each day — to the breath, to the mantra, to prayer, and to the Divine Mother.

~

Some days practice feels effortless; other days it feels ordinary. Yet each sincere return is an offering. Each moment of remembrance gently shapes the heart in ways we may not yet see.

~

I am learning to trust the rhythm of returning.
Again.
And again.
And again.

With love,
Ngahuia 🤍

🤍Soulful Sunday Book Inspirations 🤍

~

Today’s practice in with our teacher had me reflecting on the books that quietly shaped my journey many moons ago. Each arrived at exactly the right time, offering new perspectives on courage, change, purpose, intuition, and presence.

~

📖 Jonathan Livingston Seagull — Richard Bach taught me to follow my own path.

🧀 Who Moved My Cheese? — Spencer Johnson reminded me that change is where growth begins.

🌵 The Alchemist — Paulo Coelho inspired me to trust the journey and listen to my heart.

✨ The Celestine Prophecy — James Redfield opened me to synchronicity and the magic of meaningful moments.

⚔️ Way of the Peaceful Warrior — Dan Millman showed me that the greatest journey is the one within.

What book has stayed with you through the years? I’d love to hear. 🤍

✨ Hiwa-i-te-Rangi ✨
The star of aspirations.

~

My beautiful whakapapa is Māori, I now have the privilege of living, working, and holding ceremony on the beautiful lands of the Nauo and Barngarla Peoples here on the Eyre Peninsula. This wild coast.

~

As I look up to Matariki, I know I am looking at the same stars my ancestors looked to across Te Moana-nui-a-Kiwa.
I have my kuia, my mama in heart as I honour those in wairua.
They remind me that no matter where we are in the world, we remain connected through the sky, our whakapapa, and our shared humanity.

~

Hiwa-i-te-Rangi is the star of hopes, dreams, and aspirations. She gently asks us:

✨ What do you wish to grow?
✨ What are you ready to step into?
✨ What legacy do you want to leave for those who come after you?

~

Matariki invites us to remember those who have gone before us, to give thanks for the abundance in our lives, and to look ahead with intention and purpose.

~

Tonight, I send my aspirations to Hiwa-i-te-Rangi with gratitude—for my whānau, for the communities I am honoured to walk alongside, and for the privilege of living on Nauo and Barngarla Country.

~

May we all have the courage to dream boldly, walk gently, and live with aroha.

I am grateful to have walked alongside our community in this weeks NAIDOC March here in Port Lincoln.

~

It was wonderful to witness the strength, pride and connection that NAIDOC Week brings, and to spend time exploring the beautiful NAIDOC Art Exhibition, celebrating the stories, creativity and voices of First Nations artists. Along with the many community activities taking place throughout the week, it’s a reminder of the importance of coming together to listen, learn and celebrate.

~

This year’s theme, “50 Years of Deadly,” honours five decades of recognising the strength, resilience, achievements and enduring cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

~

As a Māori woman living on beautiful Nauo Country, I hold deep gratitude for the generosity of this place and for the opportunity to live, work and share ceremony here with such an incredible community. I never take for granted the privilege of walking respectfully on Country, learning, building relationships and standing alongside our First Nations brothers and sisters in celebration.

~

May we continue to honour the oldest living cultures in the world—not only this week, but every day.

~

Looking forward to seeing everyone out and about on Country over the next few days.

Celebrating NAIDOC Week.

Ngā mihi nui. ❤️🖤💛
