We had a busy Saturday afternoon class today, Julia was grouting, Linda was preparing hearts and a bouy with mesh and cement. The rest were working on various projects.

Here are 2 more pieces finished this week.
Julia grouted her lovely Lazy Susan, it's a gift for someone special. She wanted to get it finished before going away. Didnt she do a great job of her magpie and native flowers. All glass

Joy M made little Roger Rabbit with crockery, he's very sweet, peeking through the long grass. Joy is the Queen of finding some great pieces in op shops to recycle.

It's been a cold, wet and windy week, but it's been nice and warm inside the studio.
Here are this weeks finished students pieces.

Robyn finished her beautiful frog table, believe it or not, it's only her second mosaic. All glass with fused glass eyes. It's the last of my teal green spectrum glass, looks perfect with this frog.

Lyn Craig made a lovely 3D daisy piece for her outdoor space. Amazing how you can transform boring white plates into a great art piece.

Talking about recycling, Cheryl B used an old microwave plate to make this pretty suncatcher with blue wrens. All glass

***UPDATE ON COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT ***

After reporting no less than 20 different breaches by different sellers on TEMU, I'm pleased to say this matter has been resolved.

There were no more rugs with my design today!

Each infringement has to be reported separately which is time consuming but necessary.
I have to say TEMU's process for dealing with copyright infringement is clear and swift. No excuses just straight onto it and the images re removed.

So that is the best outcome.

This design of mine has brought me much joy and much grief over the years, it has been copied so may times I can't count.

Dealing with copyright infringement is not easy, unless you have a truckload of money, which I don't. There have been numerous times it has happened, where you hear nothing back, or get fobbed off, no apology, no recognition. So this was much easier than I thought it would be.

We were back to classes this week!
The Chief Scone maker is recovering slowly.
Here are a couple of students pieces finished this week!

Kate did a recent trip to the Maldives, where she went diving with Tiger sharks......eek she is braver than me! So she made this smalti piece as a lovely memory.

Lyn C made 2 magpie garden stakes, all glass. Here is the one she kept, the other was a gift.

***UPDATE*****
I reported the copyright infringement, had an email back from TEMU. They take copyright infringement seriously blah, blah, blah. And have removed it.......from that seller. It's still there.
I just counted almost 40 different Sellers....you have to report every individual one.....
It would become a full time job!

Temu are selling my mosaic on a rug!!!!
Reported.
The biggest rug they have changed slightly. Let's see what they do about this.
Another mosaic art friend Anne Marie Price/AMP Art Studio reported one of hers being used, so thought I'd better check......and here we are.

I went for a walk at Henley Beach today to blow away the cob webs, before the rain set in. Found some mosaics to share! Don't know the artist but please let me know if you do.
