Not a goodbye goodbye, but a shift and a deepening of purpose and direction…
After almost three beautiful years at the House of Creative Learning - and almost ten years running community groups, events and Waldorf playgroups for women and their children - this Christmas term will be my last running playgroup here.
There’s sadness in that, of course. I love this community and the work we do together. But there’s also excitement, and a feeling that it’s time to make room for what comes next.
I have ideas 💡 But I need time.
Time to rest, be with my family, deepen my practice and nurture the ideas that keep waiting for “when I have time” - a moment that never, EVER seems to come. Unless I make room for it. So I have decided to do that.
Many other small little factors, which I have shared in my slides. My life has changed so much.
I still believe bringing women and children together is part of what I’m here to do. I hope to welcome groups again from home, with a rhythm that supports my family and the community I’m holding and hoping to build.
To everyone who has walked through those doors, believed in me, shared a little piece of their child’s early years and helped make this community what it is: thank you.
First, one more Christmas term. Then, a little room to grow. 🌱
And - if you know a mum pouring her heart into running a playgroup for her community, book in with her this term if you can. Your booking helps support her family and keeps those beautiful spaces of connection, joy and belonging alive for other families, too.
All my love 💓
