LIFE THROUGH THE GLASS – THIS SATURDAY!

Looking for something special to do this Saturday? Come along and experience Life through the Glass, an engaging afternoon or evening of theatre featuring talented members of the Port Fairy Theatre Group and Warrnambool Theatre Company.

From moving moments to thought-provoking stories, this special production offers a wonderful mix of performances that will make you laugh, reflect and perhaps see life a little differently.

Congratulations to Port Fairy Theatre Group and Warrnambool Theatre Company members Ross McCorkell, Lex Waterreus, Angela Verspay and Jon Clegg on their success at the GEMFEST One Act Play Festival.
Come along and see this nominated and award winning play, A Fly on the Window (written by Ross and Lex), plus a series of Vignettes of Life written by Cindy Morgan on Saturday 29th August 2026 at the Lecture Hall in Port Fairy. The matinee is at 2pm and the evening session starts at 7pm.
The play will be performed on Saturday only!

If you are interested in community theatre and love literature why not head to the Port Fairy Library to hear how the upcoming production of Orlando by the Warrnambool Theatre Company has taken the story from page to stage.
Port Fairy Theatre Group members are particularly welcome to come along and share their experiences of community theatre.
Then why not grab some lunch and head into the Lecture Hall for the matinee performance of Life through the Glass, a collection of monologues that cover everything from lawn bowls to the trials and tribulations of parenting, followed by a performance of A Fly on the Window, a one act play that explores the journey of grief for the loss of a loved one.

Life Through the Glass – An Evening of Original Theatre.

Join us in celebrating the incredible creative talent from members of our own Port Fairy Theatre Group!

Ross McCorkell, Lex Waterreus and Cindy Morgan have come together to present Life Through the Glass. There will be two shows, one at 2pm and one at 7pm at the Lecture Hall, Sackville Street, Port Fairy, on Saturday 29 August.

Ross and Lex's moving play, A Fly on the Window, explores the deeply human experiences of loss and grief with warmth, honesty and compassion.

The evening also features a collection of insightful and entertaining monologues by Cindy Morgan, touching on everything from the highs and lows of parenting to the surprising world of lawn bowls—and plenty in between!

Whether you're looking to laugh, reflect or simply enjoy an evening of outstanding local theatre, Life Through the Glass promises something for everyone.
