My painting of one of the few older wooden boats at Port Albert with the park in the background.
My first painting of this scene is with my relatives in Helsinki, Finland.
The wharf where the boat is moored is not far from where the "Lurleen"was moored. ( this would be relevant to the Jones family )

Josh shearing tough Merino wethers in the Leongatha hills, that high rainfall country is more suited to X Bred sheep.
Merino wethers are for producing wool and high rainfall doesn't suit this breed.
X Bred sheep are for meat production and are more suited to the area
