I’m sorry but I can’t let this one slide, legends.
The fella that runs the page ‘Keagan Mason’ isn’t Indigenous, and the character you see in the videos doesn’t even exist.. It’s ai.
It’s a white bloke using a completely fictional digital version of an Indigenous man, often painted up in ceremonial paint, to create fake wildlife content and make money.
In fact, everything you see on that page is ai. All of it.
The character. The wildlife. The interactions.
None of it is real.
We live in a world where it’s getting harder and harder to tell what’s real and what isn’t, and people like this grub are taking advantage of that and of Indigenous Culture for personal financial gain.
No matter which way you look at it, this is cultural appropriation, digital colonial oppression, racist and completely unacceptable.
You can follow whoever ya wanna follow, but it’s best to be informed so you can make up your own mind.
Before you come at me with “he’s doing it respectfully”, nothing about what he’s doing is respectful of Indigenous People and their Culture.
If you don’t see a problem with it you need to have a good hard look at yourself.
