Hey, everyone! I wanted to share something super special with you all - this is a very special photo from the night after "the night that changed my life"!

I used to absolutely hate my legs. I'd think to myself, "If I didn't have legs, the world would look so much better." I despised my hips, dreaded my thighs, and don't even get me started on my knees... especially my knees! And let's not forget about my calves, ugh!

But then, the night before this epic photo was taken, something big happened. I decided to be bold and wear the shortest shorts I've ever owned. I threw them on for a rehearsal of a show, just to give them a test drive. To be honest, I didn't feel confident at all - I was literally inches away from going back to my trusty bike shorts.

But here's where it gets interesting. One of my instructors, someone I really looked up to, noticed my shorts and exclaimed, "Whoa, girl! Check out that butt! It looks amazing in those shorts!" And you won't believe it - a few other women there agreed and actually encouraged me to wear them for the show the next day.

Let me tell you, I was a bundle of nerves like never before. I was shaking, and my dance moves were all over the place. But you know what? I did it. I pushed through the fear and stepped into the spotlight, with my then boyfriend (now hubby) capturing this photo.

That moment, my friends, marked the beginning of a journey towards self-acceptance and real confidence. It completely changed how I saw myself. From then on, I made a commitment to love and appreciate every part of me - the good, the not-so-perfect, and everything in between.

I just want to remind each of you that we all deserve to feel comfortable in our own skin. We're all unique and beautiful in our own way. It's about time we start embracing and celebrating our true selves. So here's to raising a glass to self-acceptance and appreciating the incredible journey that brought us here!
