AUSDANCE WA AGM - SPECIAL GUEST SPEAKER: Dr Shona Erskine
Directly following our AGM, Dr Shona Erskine will be leading us in a thought-provoking discussion, exploring one of the most important questions in dance today: How do we pursue excellence without compromising wellbeing?
This interactive presentation invites Ausdance WA members - artists, teachers and industry - into an open conversation about dance training environments, unpacking what “safety” really means, exploring helpful and harmful stress, and examining the evolving role of the teacher in shaping spaces where dancers can thrive. Expect a space to share perspectives, challenge assumptions, and encounter tools for fostering healthy, sustainable dance practices.
This session is free and open to all AGM attendees.
