"Tegan knows more than anyone what this play is about – she is Rose as much as I was. She embodies the story fully with her own experience."

For sisters Kate and Tegan Mulvany, Kate's play The Seed is personal.

The semi-autobiographical story digs deep into heritage and legacy. Making the family ties even stronger, Tegan will now be taking on the leading role of Rose in her sister's play as she makes her Black Swan debut this November.

We are so excited to be bringing The Seed back to Perth audiences in this brand new production πŸ’›

We are really proud to be co-producing The Red Shoes and of Kate's involvement in the show! We can't wait to be working with Meow Meow and our friends at Belvoir St Theatre ❀️

MEOW MEOW'S THE RED SHOES | Hilarious fractured fairytale by the peerless cabaret legend: bit.ly/Meow-25

From a chorus of hairy fawns to singing swans and showgirl stars, experience an unforgettable, frenetic song-and-dance into meaning. A musical celebration that will shock you out of stagnancy and into ecstatic oblivion.

The world-renowned creator behind Meow Meow’s Little Match Girl and Meow Meow’s Little Mermaid now urgently remedies The Red Shoes. This fairytale by Hans Christian Andersen brutally punished its covetous protagonist with an ever-dancing curse that propelled her far from heaven’s gates. Meow Meow asks: what if she could never start dancing at all? Can we save her? Can we save the world?!

2025 season tickets are now on sale! Join us: bit.ly/2025-Season

This "beautifully crafted, dynamic" production by Lucy Kirkwood is showing at the Heath Ledger Theatre until Sunday 15 September, don't miss out on your chance to see it!

The Children is "hilarious, unpredictable and profound." OUTinPerth

"The wonderful element is the unpredictability of this narrative journey, it’s mysterious, laugh-out-loud funny, and armed with intriguing underlying themes. It deftly swerves from dramatic moments to comedic situations. Its dialogue is tight, clever and intricate."
