This week, students explored their understanding of drawing each pumpkin segment.

With Halloween just around the corner, they used their own ideas and creativity to add unique details and decorative elements to their pumpkins.

Next week, students will complete their pumpkin drawings and learn how to create a suitable background and composition to complete their artwork.

Awesome work by our Wednesday( Rostrata PS), Thursday ( PS) and Friday ( PS) students! They nailed this lesson and completed their artwork in just one hour!

We kicked off the first week of Term 4 by learning how to realistically shade a crumpled paper bag.

Students explored how to use tonal shading to create light, shadow, texture and a three-dimensional effect, while developing their observation skills, pencil control and confidence in realistic drawing.

So proud of their hard work and fantastic results! Keep up the great work, everyone!

It’s amazing to see our students nail this lesson and complete their artwork in just one hour! 👏

We are starting the first week of Term 4 by learning how to shade a crumpled paper bag realistically.

Wrapping up our Term 3 art lessons with a fun, hands on Origami Project!

Fold it, create it, design it… then let it fly!

Our students had a wonderful time learning, folding and playing together as they created their own self-designed origami shuriken!

Everyone got to experiment, test their creations and see how far they could fly. A cool lesson filled with creativity, learning, laughter and lots of happy smiles! 💛

This week was a challenging and exciting lesson as students learned the fundamental structure of realistic and cartoon dragons. 🐉

After that, students were given the freedom to create their own imaginary dragons, adding their own details, features and ideas.

The aim of this project is not just about learning how to draw. It is about giving students room to think creatively, make their own choices and express their imagination through art. 🎨

The finishing dragon artwork will be completed by next week.
