🦉 Plasticine Cute Owl Lesson 🦉

Our students had a wonderful time creating these adorable plasticine owls this week. 🦉

It was lovely to see each owl take on its own unique personality as students explored different colours, shapes, and details.

Most importantly, they had so much fun learning, creating, and expressing themselves through art! 🎨

The owls are still a work in progress, and students will continue adding the finishing touches and completing their creations next week. ✨

Another stunning group of students from our Thursday and Friday classes ( Year 1-6) has completed their Charcoal Still Life artworks! 🎨

We are so impressed with the effort and focus everyone showed while observing their subjects and learning charcoal techniques.

This project helped students build their concentration, observation skills, and attention to detail, and the results are amazing!

Charcoal Still Life artworks are being completed this week by our Tuesday and Wednesday students (Years 1–6).

Students are learning Charcoal Still Life drawing with shapes this week.

This helps students develop observation skills, learn proportion, shading and understand light and shadow.

Charcoal as a medium allows students to experiment with blending, contrast and different drawing techniques, helping them build confidence and improve hand-eye coordination.

Students were very focused during the lesson and we look forward to seeing the completed artwork next week.

It was lovely to see the students being so creative, their colour choices, patterns, and effort truly made each artwork unique and special.

Besides learning to draw the Manta Ray, the students were also introduced to tribal artwork patterns and learned to understand their meanings and designs.

The lesson also encouraged observation, patience, imagination, and confidence as students applied their own ideas and understanding into their artwork.

Good try everyone. They will be finishing the artwork with watercolour.
