Throughout the 1970s, the now all-but-forgotten Parkerville Amphitheatre hosted a dazzling array of ar

ts and cultural events in the middle of the Australian bush. From one of the first Aboriginal corroborees ever performed for white people in Western Australia to a series of massive outdoor rock festivals dubbed 'Perth's Mini Woodstock'. But despite a cult following and the passion of it's enigmatic owner, debt and scandal would ultimately bring this project to its knees...

In turn a bizarre and enchanting snapshot of Perth's arts scene in the 1960s and 70s, it is fundamentally the story of a star-crossed visionary, whose obsession would eventually bring about his family's ruin.
