Seriously, we've been doing these monthly poetry slams for over ten years.
Right now it's electric.
These Sunday slams at the Rosemount Hotel just keep getting better and better.
Never been to a Poetry Slam?
Well here's your chance.
Best way to spend a Sunday arvo in Perth!
$15/7 Entry.
Doors open at 4pm.

POETS: Get there early to help ensure your spot.
Slam Spots are limited to 14 sign-ups on the night. If you miss out, there’s always next month.
AUDIENCES: Witness up to 14 poets take to the stage in random order.
Five random audience members judging the poets.
Expect short sharp bursts of spoken word poetry.
We also choose 5 judges from a hat.
Judges get a dirty whiteboard and a crap texta.
Judges get a couple of free drinks from the bar.
Energy is high. The topics are somtimes brutal.
Poet aftet poet, the delivery punches you.
You laugh. Cry a little. Feel shame. Pure humanity in the flesh.
Everyone shouts, higher!
Poets are Rockstars in this circus of poems.
