📸 Mother's Day Mini Sessions — Sunday 3rd May at Gosnells Toy Library!

I'm doing a morning of mini photo sessions on 3rd May, and all proceeds go directly to Gosnells Toy Library 💛

These sessions are relaxed, child-led, and genuinely fun. No stiff posing, no "say cheese." I use beautiful toys from the library as props to keep little hands busy, and that's where the magic happens.
Real moments, genuine smiles, kids just being kids.

And mums! this one's for you too. Get in the picture with your children. You won't regret it. 🌿

That's actually kind of the whole point. I use beautiful toys to give little hands something to do — and that's where the magic happens. The in-between moments, the giggles, the concentration face.

No forced smiles. No "look at the camera!" Just you and your kids, being yourselves.

Here’s your sign to round up your favourite people and book an extended family or friends shoot with me 📸

It’s the perfect way to get everyone together — we’ll capture beautiful photos of the kids playing, each family on their own, and some fun group shots of everyone together.

This shoot (and this may be my favourite photo of all time) was three best friends and their families. We strolled around the lake for about an hour and a half, chatting, laughing, and getting the sweetest mix of portraits and candid moments.

It works out very affordable per family, and you get gorgeous photos with the people who mean the most.

Ok story time!

When my good friends asked me to capture their pregnancy I was so excited. We started making plans and checking dates and then flu season hit my house and we kept having to reschedule until suddenly we were completely out of time with an unexpected escalation in their birth timeline.

So, mid week and with my pre-primary kid in tow, I raced up to their gorgeous hills property straight after school, hoping to make it back down the hill to get my little one from daycare by 5.

Nothing like a tight working window to get the creative juices flowing!

The weather had looked good all week and then that day ... Solid grey with scattered showers all day 🌧️. No problem, I had heaps of indoor ideas, snuggled by the fire, that sort of thing.

Oh but on the way there, the sun starts peaking out from behind rain clouds and I start fantasising about some epic sun shower shots with an umbrella, and light scattering everywhere🌦️ 😍

Of course the weather had other plans and we got no rain at all 😅 perfect clear skies ☀️🌤️

So, my son stepped in as assistant with a hose and we had a pretend sun shower 😆😂

We all got very wet, and the dogs and my kid had an absolute blast.
